At ADD-vance, we believe every neurodivergent child and young person deserves to thrive – at home, at school and within themselves.

As awareness and diagnoses continue to rise, more and more families and professionals are turning to ADD-vance for guidance and support. 

Next year, ADD-vance proudly celebrates 30 years of supporting neurodivergent children and their families in Hertfordshire. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking to our local community to help us build on our strong foundation, ensuring that the vital support we provide continues to reach every family who needs it, now and in the future.

Donate

You can make a one-off or regular donation to ADD-vance in the following ways: 

  •  You can make a one-off or regular donation via JustGiving.  Choose the amount you want to donate, complete your details and submit – it’s as simple as that.  You can even add Gift Aid, which means your money will go even further.  
  • Set up a direct debit from your account to ours (please call us on 01727 833 963 to find out more). 
  • Ask your employer if they have a workplace Give as you Earn scheme.  (This means donations come to us pre-tax with no need for Gift Aid and sometimes employers match or part-match personal contributions.)

At ADD-vance, we are very grateful to everyone who chooses to support our work. Community-led fundraising plays an important role in helping us reach and support more local families, and we welcome anyone who would like to get involved.

Schools, workplaces and community organisations also play a huge part in supporting ADD-vance. Whether it’s a non-uniform day, a sponsored challenge, a charity of the year partnership or an in-house fundraising event, these activities not only raise essential funds but also help spread awareness and understanding of neurodiversity.

Fundraise for ADD-vance with your own JustGiving page!   

Creating a page is a simple way to share your fundraising plans, spread the word and collect donations.

Raise funds while you shop online

You can raise funds for ADD-vance while you shop online by registering with either easyfundraising.co.uk or Give As You Live.

ADD-vance has registered with these services, which allow you to donate while you shop at over 4,000 online retailers. When you buy online through their portal, the retailer pays the fundraising service a referral fee and then they pass on a proportion of that fee to us without it costing an extra penny to you.

How fundraising while you shop works:

  • Choose one of the services that ADD-vance is registered with – either easyfundraising.com or Give As You Live.
  • Register your details to set up an account.
  • Shop online using their portal so that they can claim a referral fee from the retailer and send it on to us without it costing
    you an extra penny.

How your support can make a difference

    • £10 could fund a parent attending a workshop to understand their child’s unique brain, giving them strategies to support their neurodivergent child. 
 
    • £19 could pay for a teacher to attend a workshop on understanding ADHD and Autism, giving them ideas on how make their classroom neuro-inclusive.
 
    • £35 could pay for a member of the ADD-vance team to attend an awareness raising events across the county to ensure parents and carers find the support they need.
 
    • £150 could pay for one child to attend an “Understanding My ADHD and Autism” six week course to explore their neurodivergence, identify useful strategies and celebrate their brilliant brain.
